Marketing Linkages/Melas/Exhibitions/Trade Fairs

NSKFDC has executed  MoU  with Go-Coop Solutions & Services  Pvt. Ltd. (Go-Coop) and Clues Network Private Limited  (Shopclues). Go-Coop and Shopclues  are online market places for Cooperative and  Community based  Weavers and Artisans to list and sell their products online.
As per the MoU, Go-Coop and  Shopclues   will  provide to the beneficiaries of  NSKFDC an online marketing platform, training, infrastructural support in data analytics and customer acquisition to help them get remunerative prices for their products and scale up their business.

Workshops/Job Fairs

Workshops:
Workshops are organized by the State Channelising Agencies(SCAs) for providing uptodate information of the Schemes and Programmes of NSKFDC to their District officials including those who are handling NSKFDC matters in the headquarters of the SCAs. The expenditure upto Rs.25,000/- per workshop is reimbursed by NSKFDC to the SCAs.

Awareness Camps

In order to make direct interaction with the target group for creating awareness about NSKFDC's  schemes and programmes, NSKFDC with the assistance of State Channelising Agencies (SCAs) is holding the Awareness Camps in the basties / areas of Safai Karamcharis/Scavengers to motivate them to avail the benefits of the schemes of the corporation to enable them to break away from thir traditional occupation of scavenging and sweeping and take up alternative and dignified occupations or self employment activities.

INDICATIVE SCHEMES FINANCED BY NSKFDC

 

Any viable and income generating schemes are financed by NSKFDC to Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers and their dependents. As per the project proposals received from the SCAs, the following sectors are given priority by the target group:-

Mahila Adhikarita Yojana (MAY)

  • Under the Mahila Adhikarita Yojana (MAY) loan is provided  through State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs), Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and  Nationalized Bank to the target group.
  • Loan under this schemes  is provided to Safai Karamchari and Scavenger women and their dependant daughters for projects with a maximum project cost upto Rs.200000/- for small and petty trade/business and sundry income generating activities.
